Watch: Automation Airwaves | Episode 1: Design Authority
A company launches an new automation program, and automates a handful of unrelated processes, simply based on what developers and other staff think should be handled first. All of these new automations seem to be working just fine, so the company decides to add more.
But... in the time between these automations, the development team has changed, and some of the new processes need to link to the original processes. Everyone soon realizes there’s no core framework for implementing and scaling automation across multiple environments at the company, and before long, the whole program grinds to a halt.
Absence of clear design authority is a major stall point that impacts too many companies far too often. To learn how to fix it — or even better, avoid it — watch the debut episode of our new video podcast, Automation Airwaves.
